Business Coach Awarded Prestigious PCC Designation From ICF

(Woodridge, IL) – On November 15, 2004, Personal and Business Coach Tom Kelly was awarded the Professional Certified Coach designation from the International Coach Federation, the standards body for the coaching industry.  Tom is the 15th coach in the state to be awarded this designation.

“It’s an honor to have achieved this designation, “ said Kelly.  “I think it shows my overall commitment to being a great coach and providing excellence for my clients.”  In order to receive the designation, Tom had to graduate from Coach U, have at least 750 hours of paid for coaching experience, submit 5 letters of recommendation from clients, submit and defend 5 case studies before a board of Master Certified Coaches, have 3 letters of recommendation from Master Certified Coaches, and do live coaching before the ICF standards committee. 

“Not all coaches are created equal.  With thousands of people calling themselves coaches, and only a small number of us actually being certified, I think the difference shows, “ said Kelly.
